“Ingenium engines – the driving force behind the low-emission, fuel efficient XE and XF models and used in a wide range of Jaguar and Land Rover vehicles – comes off the production line every 40 seconds (that’s 400,000 new engines a year) during production. Costing £353 million ($500m) to design, the Ingenium engine has been subjected to over 2 million miles of real-world testing –the equivalent of driving the circumference of the Earth more than 80 times.”
