All-New 2017 Jaguar F-PACE Should be on Your Compact SUV Short List

June 28th, 2016 by

It’s been a few months since we at Ray Catena Jaguar of Edison last checked in with you about the 2017 Jaguar F-PACE, the British automaker’s first-ever compact luxury SUV.

And, as such, we thought we’d offer something of an update today. Pair with Edmunds.com personality, Alistair Weaver, for an inside look at what the F-PACE is all about:

The SUV’s engine catalog isn’t a one-size-fits-all sort of deal. With three distinctive versions available, there’s no doubt an F-PACE powertrain for just about every person under the sun.

In most cases, the crossover receives a supercharged 3.0-liter V6, rated at 340 horsepower and 332 pound-feet of torque. Step it up to either the S or First Edition trim and that same six-banger will instead make 380 horsepower.

And then, finally, there’s the 20d AWD model. Though it may be the fuel-sipper of the bunch, this trim can still pack a punch, as its 2.0-liter turbodiesel inline four-cylinder musters 180 horsepower and a massive 318 pound-feet of torque.

For more information about this head-turning utility hauler, or to take the wheel of one, we invite you to swing by our Edison, NJ showroom. Our seasoned staff is available to address your every question regarding the F-PACE, or any other Jaguar model throughout the current fleet.
