Jaguar Sets the Pace with New Crossover

Rumors of a crossover entering the Jaguar lineup have been abound since 2013, when the automaker unveiled the stylish C-X17 concept at that year’s Frankfurt Motor Show. Now, almost two years later, the British automaker has announced that the name of its latest family member: the 2016 F-PACE.

While the name may seem a bit out of place in the brand’s portfolio, that’s not the case at all. The name was inspired by both the F-TYPE and the Big Cat’s tagline of “Grace, Space, and Space.” Set to ride on the automaker’s new aluminum architecture, they claim the model will be unveiled sometime this year, and go on sale as a 2016 model year.
