Jaguar XF Premium Test Drive

The XF Premium offers added comfort and convenience features to the XF, including such niceties as power folding rear seat, power steering adjustment and a wider range of interior and exterior color and trim options.

10×10 way front seats with 8-way electric adjustments and seat memory, and rear seats with split folding provide comfort and versatility. Enhancing every drive is a power-adjustable steering column.

The XF offers a choice of engines: Two turbocharged 2.0-liter 4-cylinder engines, one with 247 horsepower and one with 296 horsepower, or a 2.0-liter diesel engine with 318 lb-ft of torque, all from our new Ingenium range.

The available Intelligent All Wheel Drive (AWD) delivers confident handling on most surfaces. The system uses a unique Intelligent Driveline Dynamics control developed by Jaguar that uses sophisticated algorithms to react intelligently to road conditions. Predictive, as well as reactive, the system helps prevent you from losing traction instead of working to regain it.⁴

Bi-function High Intensity Discharge (HID) Xenon headlights are bright and clear, providing excellent illumination of the road on both high and low beam, for easier nighttime driving. Their integral J-Blade LED Daytime Running Lights also give the XF a distinctive visual signature. Built-in washers come standard.

At the heart of the XF interior is the new infotainment system, InControl Touch, which features an 8-inch touchscreen with contemporary graphical design and intuitive controls. It puts features, including audio, climate control and the optional satellite navigation, at your fingertips.⁷

The unique All Surface Progress Control (ASPC) developed by Jaguar helps make the XF easier to drive in challenging conditions, helping you to maintain more control at low speed. It can provide assistance in slippery conditions, whether helping to navigate a snowy driveway or park on a slippery surface.⁴
