The 2016 Jaguar XF Performs a Record Breaking High-Wire Water Crossing

March 31st, 2015 by

Believe it or not, there is actually a world record set for the longest high-wire water crossing completed by a vehicle. Well, at least there was until the 2016 Jaguar XF came along. The automaker set out to break the current record, and it did exactly that with its newest model.

After cruising about 780 feet across the Thames River in London, the XF became the new record holder. Do you need to see it to believe it? Take a look at the following video to see how the stunt was completed.

If the Jaguar XF is capable of driving on carbon-fiber cables, then it can be capable of just about anything. This is one of the many reasons why all of us here at Ray Catena Jaguar of Edison are so excited for its future arrival. Until then, we invite you to visit our Edison, NJ showroom to check out what the new Jaguar lineup currently has to offer. Your dream car is just waiting to be discovered, so what are you waiting for?
