Customer-Friendly Software Updates

Did you know that you will soon be able to update your vehicles, just like you update your cell phone?!

Shortly, JLR will provide the ability for customers to update core vehicle software over the air, enabling them to keep their vehicles current and updated – just like their cell phones. This Software Over the Air (SOTA) will first be available for the I-PACE , then all 19MY Jaguar Land Rover vehicles. The core vehicle components which can be updated are the infotainment system, telematics control unit and battery energy control module (I-PACE only). 

What does this mean for you? It’s a customer-friendly process that helps ensure the car is up-to-date and performing at its optimum.
